treating design as something learned through doing
. In the spirit of this idea\, this workshop appro
aches making as an accessible and shared process.

will build a crate chair\, or stool using mostly p
re-cut components and straightforward construction
methods. There will also be a time to customize
each piece through sanding\, staining\, or finishi
ng\, allowing each object to reflect the person wh
o made it. Participants will leave with a functio
nal piece of furniture you built yourself. No prio
r experience required\, All supplies will be incl
uded in the course fee. \n
