Photography Workshop: Hard light, Soft Light – Lighting basics for Photography

Registration is closed for this event

This One session in-person workshop we will break down the fundamentals of light–hard light, soft light, indirect light— as well as ways to modify light, play with it, and most importantly, get creative with it. You don’t need a lot of money to start playing with lighting in your photography. Students will have the opportunity to have a dance model to create their own photographs. Bring whichever camera you have available, whether is a professional DSLR, film camera or your phone camera. All other materials will be provided by Root Division. Please note: This class will occur in person at Root Division, located at 1131 Mission Street in SF.
