Cyanotype Printing Workshop – In Person

A cyanotype is a blue-toned print, which is the result of a photographic printing process. In this three-session workshop, we will learn how to coat paper with chemicals and create an exposure using UV light. Contact prints will be made with objects (flowers, trinkets, paper cut outs, etc.) or images (photos printed on a transparency). Once familiar with the process, students will be able to experiment and create individual pieces of artwork. A materials list will be provided upon registration; some supplies must be purchased independently. Please note: this class will take place in person at Root Division, located at 1131 Mission Street in SF.

*Sections A, B, and C are the same level and general course content. They occur on different dates and may have different instructors.
