Introduction to Collage
Explore the fun and intuitive nature of collage in this introductory workshop. Students will be introduced to collage processes and will be able to explore several techniques based on personal interests. Students will develop compositional skills, a deeper understanding of depth, value, form, and color. In the first class, we will begin with basic collage materials and applications, focusing on the concepts of value and composition. In the second class, we will expand our knowledge with layering and basic color theory, as we continue to emphasize the expressive nature of collage. A materials list will be provided upon registration; supplies must be purchased independently.
