Samantha Reynolds
Art Programs Director
Samantha Reynolds received an MA in Arts Administration & Policy from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2015 and a BA in Art History from Boston College in 2012. Outside of her role as Art Programs Manager at Root Division, Reynolds also works as the Co-Director for Project O, a collaboration that facilitates public art installations to create more visible and activated space throughout San Francisco. Her recent curatorial projects include Simmer (Root Division, San Francisco, CA), Annie Albagli: Worth Your Salt (Public installation, San Francisco, CA), Dimitra Skandali: The Beginning Was the End (Pro Arts, Oakland, CA), Present Ground (Hayes Valley Art Works, San Francisco, CA), and assisted with Plus One (Traywick Contemporary, Berkeley, CA). While at Root Division, Reynolds has served as an Exhibitions Intern, Exhibitions Fellow, Auction Assistant and Interim Art Programs Manager. Prior to joining the Root Division team, Reynolds worked as the Gallery Manager at Pro Arts, Oakland, CA and Curatorial Fellow / Residency Assistant at Hyde Park Art Center, Chicago, IL.
