Studio Artist Representative
Jasper Wilde (they/them) is a non-binary abstract painter and educator based in San Francisco. As a studio artist and artist representative on the Board of Root Division, their vibrant, expressive work channels the experiences of a trans person navigating late-stage capitalism, exploring themes of heartbreak, identity, and autonomy through bold colors and gestural abstraction. Jasper shares their creative process and storytelling on social media, engaging a growing audience with their authenticity. Committed to arts education, they have led workshops at SFMOMA, MarinMOCA, and Root Division, Ruth’s Table, Oakland Art Murmur, and ArtSpan, guiding artists in abstract painting, mural-making, color theory, and social media storytelling. Their work has been exhibited at The Drawing Room, Rosebud Gallery, Root Division, SOMArts, Superfine Art Fair, Blue Line Art Gallery, Heron Arts Gallery, Ruth’s Table, and MOSA Gather.
