Root Division recruits and empowers Studio Fellows to promote community service, inspire youth, and enrich the Bay Area through engagement in the visual arts. We seek individuals who are enthusiastic and passionate about arts education, exhibitions programming, nonprofit arts administration, and community engagement. Our Teaching Fellows work as Root Division teaching artists to provide free art classes in one of our nine partner sites, creating a link between practicing artists and the schools’ diverse communities.
