This 4-session class will meet on-site at Root Division on Monday evenings on 9/14, 9/21, 9/28, and 10/5 from 6:30-8:30 PM.
Want to get into the fundamentals of sketching and drawing to add to your skill set? This beginner-focused, 4-session series covers how to use basic materials and methods so you can establish a drawing practice. Materials are included in course pricing.

About the instructor:
Born in Hayward, California, Ellena has been painting and creating for over ten years. She works in oil and watercolor, mixing techniques to treat one like the other. Their paintings are a result of filtering their lived experience through music and emotion. Endlessly inspired by the natural world, she paints what is deeply familiar to her. Some galleries that have shown their work include Mission Cultural Center in San Francisco, Wailoa Center in Hilo, and HPU Kaneohe Gallery on O’ahu.

All Sales are Final: Root Division does not offer refunds or class credits for student absences or cancellations made within 72 hours of the class start time.

Transfer Your Seat: If you are unable to attend, you may send a friend in your place! Please email contact the host or classes@rootdivision.org with their name at least 2 hours before class begins.

Refunds: Full refunds are only issued if a cancellation request is received via email at least 72 hours prior to the first session.

Course Cancellations: Root Division reserves the right to cancel any class due to low enrollment. If your class is cancelled, you will be notified via email and issued a full refund within 5-7 business days.
