Gouache 101
This class will explore the qualities of this water-soluble opaque media used traditionally in posters, design renderings or illustrations. Students will expand on principles of design and color theory as well as brush handling and paint application. Each week the focus will be on a design principle (line, shape/form, color and texture) and a project to practice specific skills. The class will give students the opportunity to develop their own ideas into final project.
