Bio

Alexis is an artist and educator based in Palo Alto. She works primarily in drawing and printmaking, with a focus on abstractions based in systems, architectures and accumulations.

Artist Statement

Her studio practice centers on process-based works, using mixed media on paper to explore visual schemata, maps, modulations, architectures and patterns. Alexis’ current work includes recycling found ephemera, large scale collaging, and drawing with found stencils and forms.
