Raised on her family’s farm in Minnesota, Megan spent her young adult life making art and short films. It was while she was working as an Art Director on music video sets that she fell in love with sculpture. She graduated with her B.F.A. and then an M.A. at Minnesota State University, Mankato. In 2016 she moved to California to pursue an MFA in sculpture at San Jose State University. She currently lives and practices in San Francisco, and will receive her MFA in 2019. Megan has been a high school and college art educator for over five years and believes making art should be accessible to everyone.
