This one-session in-person class at Root Division (1131 Mission St) is an introductory course to painting, so no prior experience is needed. Students will explore different kinds of paints such as acrylic, gouache, and watercolor to understand their properties, mediums, and paint applications, and to unleash their full range of possibilities. Students will explore color theory and layering, creating the groundwork and understanding to develop skills beyond this course.
