The goal of the course is to find your signature style of abstract painting, make space for expression without judgment, and learn tools to paint boldly and with confidence. Each week will go over the 3 basic building blocks of abstract painting: finding your signature marks, harmonizing your palette, and abstract composition. Each concept is explored in a dedicated class, with the final session integrating all learned skills and ideas.
A materials list will be included upon registration. Please note: This class will occur in person at Root Division, located at 1131 Mission Street in SF. Note: No class February 5.
