This two-week studio workshop at Root Division (1131 Mission St.) is a process-driven workshop where painting, printmaking, and sculpture blur together. Students paint on plexiglass with watercolor and ink, pull translucent ghost prints onto Japanese papers, carve marks into plaster for textured impressions, and build cutout shapes that function as improvised printing plates. The class centers on intuition, abstraction, and the thrill of translating a gesture across shifting surfaces.
A material list will be included upon registration.
