Explore the fun and intuitive nature of collage in this introductory workshop. In this 3-session class, we will collect material from our daily lives and compile it in a way that expresses a strong personal narrative. Through fostering a dialogue between abstraction and figuration, we will explore our rich and individual inner landscapes using these collected materials to create beautiful works of art. Students can expect to walk away with 2-3 pieces of work as well as a deeper understanding of their artistic voice. A materials list will be provided upon registration; supplies must be purchased independently. Please note: this class will take place in person at Root Division, located at 1131 Mission Street in SF.
*Sections A, B, and C are the same level and general course content. They occur on different dates and may have different instructors.
