This one-session in-person class is an introductory course to oil painting, so no prior experience is needed. Students will work to explore the oil medium to understand their properties and application, and therefore to unleash their full range of possibilities. Students will explore color theory and layering, creating the groundwork and understanding to develop skills beyond this course. Materials will be provided by Root Division. Please note: This class will occur in person at Root Division, located at 1131 Mission Street in SF.
