Venue: 1131 Mission Street
Experimental Calligraphy
In this two-day workshop, students will make a series of writing tools to explore the versatility of lettering — for example, Coke can pen, bird feather quill, chopstick pen, popsicle stick brush, branch and straw pens. On the second day, students will put their freshly created writing instrument to practice by lettering and painting on a wide assortment of colored backgrounds.
