This 4-session in-person class will introduce students to painting on paper with watercolor and/or gouache. Students will explore a variety of techniques, with a focus on visual elements and design such as color, value, space, and composition. The instructor will help students gain a basic command of these expressive media through class demos and individual direction. A materials list will be provided upon registration; supplies must be purchased independently. Please note: this class will take place at Root Division, 1131 Mission Street in San Francisco.
*Sections A, B, and C are the same level and general course content. They occur on different dates and may have different instructors.
