WTSP 2014 – Waterbased Media A

This class will introduce students to painting with watercolor, gouache, and inks.  Using these versatile media, students will produce representational images of landscape, still life, and figures, as well as abstract studies, all while learning a variety of techniques.  Through group demonstrations and individual direction, the instructor will help students to gain a basic command of these expressive media. Some supplies are included in the materials fee, however there will be an additional supply list provided upon registration.

In response to the current COVID-19 situation, we require that all persons continue to wear masks at all times when in the Root Division space. For the safety of our students, artists, and extended community, we also require all students to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination (or same-day negative test results) for entry to classes held indoors at Root Division.

You may bring a physical copy of your vaccination card or via digital download through the State of California Digital Vaccine Record Portal here. (You may also provide a negative test result taken before each class session. Please contact us with any questions about the types of test results accepted.)

We ask this as a show of community care and a move towards continued safety while gathering in-person.
