Root Division’s Portfolio Reviews offer artists a unique opportunity to receive thoughtful, one-on-one feedback from a select group of curators, gallerists, and arts professionals from across the Bay Area.

During this afternoon session, each participating artist will meet individually with a reviewer for a focused 20-minute conversation about their work. These sessions are designed to provide constructive critique, professional insight, and meaningful dialogue that can help artists refine their practice, presentation, and next steps.

Our reviewers bring a range of perspectives from leading institutions and independent spaces, creating an environment that is both supportive and rigorous. Whether you are preparing for exhibitions, applying to opportunities, or developing a new body of work, these conversations are intended to meet you where you are and push your work forward.

Portfolio Reviews at Root Division are not only about feedback—they are about building relationships, expanding networks, and engaging more deeply with the broader arts community.

Spots are limited. Advance registration is required. Specific time slots will be assigned in advance of the event date.
