Root Division offers affordable Professional Development Workshops that provide practical skills for your creative business. Our Studio Artists, as well as other Bay Area professional Artists, Gallery Directors, Curators, and arts-related administrators, provide artists support and direction in composing portfolios, building websites, and developing practical business skills.

As soon as possible! This will secure your spot and make sure that you have time to gather the supplies needed for your course. We strongly encourage students to register AT LEAST 48 HOURS IN ADVANCE of the first class to ensure placement.

Upon registration you will receive a list of materials to purchase prior to your first class meeting.

You can cancel anytime by emailing our Education Programs Manager at michael@rootdivision.org. To receive a full refund you have to cancel 24 hours prior to the start of the first class. You will receive 75% of the refund if you cancel less than 24 hours prior to and through the end of first class. If you cancel after the first class date you will receive a 25% refund.

Yes! Register with a friend and get 10% off the class fee. Register with 5 friends and one person takes the class for free.

Our instructors work hard to create an inclusive and positive learning environment for people from all walks of life. You always reserve the right to have your camera off and that is okay!

Our classes are structured for beginners, unless otherwise noted. We just ask students to bring their eagerness to learn!

They occur on different dates and may have different instructors. Sections A, B, and C of any class are the same level and course content.
