This one-session in-person class is an introductory course to painting, so no prior experience is needed. Students will work explore different kinds of paints such as acrylic, gouache, and watercolor to understand their properties, mediums, and paint applications, and to unleash their full range of possibilities. Students will explore color theory and layering, creating the groundwork and understanding to develop skills beyond this course. Some basic supplies are included in the course fee, however, an additional materials list will be provided upon registration. Please note: This class will occur in person at Root Division, located at 1131 Mission Street in SF.
