Root Division is thrilled to present New Growth: Rooted Together, our annual Arts Education Celebration. New Growth showcases student artwork created throughout Root Division’s free after-school Youth Education Program. We partner with a collective of youth-centered organizations to present dynamic live performances alongside hands-on all-ages art-making activities. This year’s theme, Rooted Together focuses on how our Youth Education Education Program is rooted in the organizations, communities and families we partner with, and to be able to celebrate the accomplishments of this year together.

Root Division is proud to present Liberties Were Taken, the first solo exhibition in the Bay Area of Philippine-based artist Cian Dayrit.

Featuring hundreds of artworks by emerging and established Bay Area artists, there’s something for first time buyers and seasoned collectors alike! Join us in the gallery and online to experience the artworks of our 22nd Annual Auction.

Root Division is proud to present HUQ: I see no favor, opening in November 2024.

Established in 2007, INTRODUCTIONS is one of Root Division’s signature exhibitions, showcasing the talents of twelve emerging Bay Area artists without gallery representation. Artists are selected through a rigorous review process by a panel of three prominent arts professionals based on the conceptual and formal strength of their work. The resulting exhibition provides a snapshot of the Bay Area’s artistic landscape featuring a diverse range of media and subject matter, including but not limited to video, installation, sculpture, photography, textiles, and painting.

With Open Eyes is a group exhibition that amplifies Black visual representation through positive depictions of Black culture and life.
