Join us as Root Division commemorates 20 years of cultivating community-minded artists and arts-minded community. To mark this historic milestone, the organization will present a variety of inclusive festivities and goods! 

We have an exciting line-up of events and special projects starting with the 20-Year Anniversary Kick Off Event on Saturday, April 9!  Here’s what to expect: a limited-capacity VIP reception* with treats, cocktails, valet parking, and access to open artist studios; the release of our 20-Year Anniversary Publication; and a public opening reception for the 20-Year Anniversary Alumni Exhibition featuring 20 alums from Root Division’s Studios Program.

With a variety of access levels, you can be part of this in-person celebration at Root Division. For general admission, all are welcome to join on a sliding scale suggested donation. From $20 contributions to Host Level packages—every level of support adds to our celebration and vision for the future! Proceeds directly benefit local artists, free art classes for Bay Area youth, and the continued success of Root Division’s unique model for keeping artists working at the heart of San Francisco.

* Root Division is requiring proof of vaccination and/or valid negative test results as well as masks for all indoor activities. Events (especially those with food & beverage) will be limited capacity.
