The Frank Ratchye Project Space is pleased to present Mother Desert, a solo exhibition by Root Division Studio Artist Taylor Stoneman. 

Mother Desert reveals the profound physical and emotional becoming catalyzed by motherhood.  Though often framed as a seamless expansion of self, motherhood here goes beyond institutional portrayals and definitions. Artist Taylor Stoneman navigates fears arising from matrescence and allows space for both joy and despair, reflecting on moments of vulnerability and intimacy experienced during pregnancy and postpartum.
