HOW TO BID: 

Register as a Bidder at rootdivision.cbo.io 

Peruse artworks and place your bids in real time for the Silent and on the ClickBid online portal.

Tips for an easy bidding experience:

  • Place your maximum bids in advance of the event. 
  • Set the Maximum Bid on your favorite items and Clickbid will automatically place your competing bids. 
  • Set up email and text Alerts so you’ll know if you have been outbid. 
  • Use a second device during the Auction so you can bid and watch the livestream. 

HOW TO ATTEND: 

RSVP to our virtual event by purchasing a ticket: rootdivision.org/art-auction

VIP, Deluxe, and Host Guests will be given exclusive gifts and access to the virtual event. Regular tickets are also available at pay-what-you-can.

NOTE: Guests will receive the private link for the Hopin virtual event access via email by 5 pm on Thursday, October 21.

Hopin works best on Chrome and Firefox browsers. To access the event via your mobile device, download the app here

Virtual Streaming will be accessible via our event platform Hopin for registered guests. We will also be providing a livestream to Facebook. 

HOW TO DONATE: 

  • On ClickBid you can make a donation on Item #501: Donate to Root Division
  • Via SMS (Text-to-Give). Text “rootdivision” to 56651 and follow prompts to donate. 
  • On Venmo send donations to @rootdivision
  • On our website rootdivision.org/giving 

SILENT AUCTION

Bid on Silent Auction items throughout the days leading up to the event on our ClickBid portal. 

Silent Auction Lots will close after the stage program on  Thursday, October 21, 2021 at ~8:30 pm. Items close in order of sections, starting with Section A (Lot #1-14) and ending with Section G (Lot #401-422). Tune into the Live Event in order to place your final bids in time or set your maximum bids anytime beforehand. 

PAYMENT 

ClickBid requires a credit card/ form of payment during registration. 

Items will be charged in full via the ClickBid portal to the highest bidder. Check out and confirm transactions by Friday, October 22. Thereafter, we will charge the card on file, so contact us at payments@rootdivision.org to request another method (check, PayPal, etc.) California sales tax (8.5%) will be charged to all purchases of goods.

All sales are final with no refunds or exchanges, and without warranty.

You will be issued a receipt through the ClickBid portal after your purchase is complete. Save this for picking up your art!

PICK-UP / DELIVERY 

Present your receipt to the Root Division Gallery attendant during our art pick up days at Root Division (1131 Mission Street, SF) scheduled for: 

Friday, October 22, 2-6 pm

Saturday, October 23, 11 am-4 pm 

Schedule an alternate pick-up appointment by emailing visit@rootdivision.org. 

If you are unable to pick up your item(s) during these open days we can schedule a select number of regional art deliveries. Or if you are out of the San Francisco Bay Area region and need your work shipped to you please email us with your receipt. Inquire about delivery and shipping schedules and fees by emailing payments@rootdivision.org
