Bio
Amun is a multi-media urban design artist whose work speaks to the performative nature of women in public spaces, Pan-Africanism, identity mythology and human-centered globalism. She enjoys using the paintbrush, the camera, the keyboard, and the sketch pencil to turn places into spaces and even more, make every neighborhood a place for the extraordinary.
Artist Statement
Amun is a UC Berkeley Film graduate who aspires to increase the positive representation of women and persons of color through art and urban design. Her creative and activist focus areas are migration, repatriation, diasporic communities, women/children, and tourism.
