Bio
Mel Day is an interdisciplinary artist and co-founder of The Wall of Song Project, a collaborative mixed reality art and civic singing platform. Day has shared her work with venues including Grace Cathedral, Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, Berkeley Art Museum and San José Museum of Art. Honors include the SVCreates Nexus Award, Stanford University’s Experimental Media Arts Lab, Headlands Center for the Arts NewWorks Award, Oberpfälzer Künstlerhaus Residency (Germany). She holds an MFA from UC Berkeley, a BFA from Queen’s University, Canada with a scholarship to Glasgow School of Art.
