Bio
Taylor Snowberger is a multimedia artist, educator, and freelance writer from California’s Central Valley, now based in San Francisco. Working across painting, performance, video, and social practice, her work is shaped by an expansive, materially curious approach, her media gluttony a response to growing up in an “art desert.” She studied Art Education at Humboldt State University and has organized exhibitions, publications, and artist-led initiatives addressing access, collaboration, and community-based art-making.
Taylor Snowberger’s work engages perception as something unstable and made through overlapping systems of belief, symbolism, and experience. She explores her ideas through saturated color, repeated figures, and fragmented space as a way of examining how reality is built, felt, and altered. Influenced by psychedelic aesthetics, esoteric systems, and feminism, she creates layered compositions that examine perception and constructed reality.
