Heidy Braverman

Heidy has had a long interest in art and emerging artists. Currently she is serving as: Co-Chair of the SECA Council for SFMOMA, the Board of Directors of Root Division-member of Finance and Fundraising Committees, a member of the Advancement Committee for the Headlands Center for the Arts and a member of the Artadia National Council. In the past she served as a docent and member of the Docent Council at SFMOMA, and as a member of the Board of Directors and Treasurer of SF Camerawork. Heidy also has a long time interest in the problem of housing and serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the Foundation for Quality Housing Opportunities and is a partner in development of both Senior and Family Affordable Housing.

Heidy is now retired from a 40 year career in the concrete repair and strengthening industry including techniques for Fiber-Reinforced Polymer Reinforcement repairs and is part of a team which recently received a patent in FRP Seawall Repair. In. She served on the Board of Directors of International Concrete Repair Institute for 6 years and served on many ICRI and American Concrete Institute Committees.
