Co-Founder / Emeritus Board Member
Mitch Temple co-founded Root Division in 2002 while earning his MFA from San Francisco Art Institute. He served on Root Division’s Board since 2004 and as President from 2006-2007. Mitch moved to Los Angeles where he designed and delivered after-school education for underprivileged and at risk youth. Mitch is also founder of Donkey Monkey Film Productions in Los Angeles. He believes education is the cleanest path to social justice, and art makes life infinitely more interesting. He is married to a talented artist who spent hundreds of unaccounted hours volunteering for Root Division, and they have two beautiful girls who are firmly committed to chaos.
