This three-session virtual course will use the computer as a medium for illustration. Students will learn the very basics of Adobe Illustrator, from exploring tools to making their own unique images. Goals of this course include developing computer tools to better execute stylized illustrations, and a general understanding of the history or illustration and its uses in contemporary settings. Students will leave this course with a series of spot illustrations specific to individual student’s subjects and styles, reflecting skills in concept, creativity, and branding. Please note: this class will take place virtually over Zoom. Students will need to have Adobe Illustrator downloaded on their personal device.
