Calligraphy Projects
In this virtual three-session follow-up course to Calligraphy 101 or Brush Lettering, students will continue their practice of lettering using a selection of pens, nib holders, and brushes with water based media. Students will have access to the various lettering tools previously introduced and the space to deepen their practice through independent projects. The instructor will provide resources, examples, project ideas, demonstrations, and one-on-one coaching to students in this interactive, intermediate-level workshop. A variety of tools and techniques will be demonstrated during class, but students are encouraged to bring their own watercolor or gouache set, brushes, and any special papers or surfaces they would like to work with. A suggested materials list will be provided upon registration; supplies must be purchased independently.
