Discover the intricate beauty of California's native flora through botanical illustration in this three-week course at Root Division (1131 Mission St). Learn traditional techniques to document wildflowers, foliage, and seeds with precision and artistry using watercolor, gouache and colored pencil. Practice accurate proportions, fine detail work, and subtle color matching from live plants. Perfect for artists and naturalists seeking to combine scientific observation with creative expression while exploring our region's unique botanical heritage. This class is open to anyone who would like to learn how to draw native botanical plants, so no previous experience is necessary. 

 All supplies will be included in the course fee.
