Intermediate Drawing

This event has only 12 space(s) left. If you continue and register more than 12 people (including yourself ), the whole group will be wait listed. Or, you can reduce the number of people you are registering to 12 to avoid being put on the waiting list.

In this six-session in-person course, you will learn the basics of working with a figure model to create more meaningful drawings. The purpose of this class is not to copy the figure but to tap into your creative practice. Instruction will cover foundational techniques such as gesture drawing, proportions, and value. This is an introductory course to figure drawing, so no prior experience is needed–you simply need the desire to learn how to draw people from life.  A materials list will be provided upon registration. Students should plan to purchase independently via this link or another retailer. Please note: This class will occur in person at Root Division, located at 1131 Mission Street in SF.
