This four-week studio workshop at Root Division (1131 Mission St.) is an introductory class to creating abstract sculptures. We will explore using found elements to create abstract shapes and how to transform them into 3-dimensional objects. Utilizing repetition of material or markmaking we will fill out our objects, Our final classes will be dedicated to movement and how to use kinetic elements to shape our sculptures.
