In this three-session in-person workshop, learn how to weave on a backstrap loom. A backstrap loom is an accessible and mobile way of weaving only requiring yarns, a dowl, and yourself. You will first learn to warp and thread your loom. Then we will go over plain weave and joining methods. By the end of the class, you will not only know how to weave and use a backstrap loom, but you will also have a unique weaving created by you! A material list will be sent upon registration. Please note: This class will occur in person at Root Division, located at 1131 Mission Street in SF.
