This six-session, in person drawing class at Root Division (1131 Mission St.) is an introductory course, so no experience is necessary. Learn to create functional pieces like cups, mugs, bowls, and more using foundational hand-building techniques: coiling, pinching, and slab construction. This beginner-friendly course introduces you to the versatile world of clay, where you’ll transform simple forms into personalized ceramic artworks. You’ll develop skills in construction, finishing techniques, and aesthetic judgment to complete original works that balance form and function. A material list will be included upon registration.
