RegisterIn this 3-week workshop, we will focus on abstract painting: Explore color, shape, and form. We will investigate different approaches to help us find new ways of seeing and ultimately, help us define what abstract painting means to us as individuals: Making painterly decisions confidently on our terms. We will learn how to use a variety of mediums: ink, charcoal, oil pastel, and acrylic paint. And experiment on top of a vast range of surfaces: paper, panel, cardboard, and canvas. The primary concern of this course is to have fun, experiment, explore, try new things, and take risks. This class is open to all levels! Some basic supplies are included in the course fee, however, an additional materials list will be provided upon registration. Please note: this class will take place in person at Root Division, located at 1131 Mission Street in SF.
