In this course you'll learn everything you need to know to build a beautiful, functional, and feature-rich portfolio website in WordPress. The first class will cover WordPress site architecture + setup, components, themes, and plugins. Students will spend the next three classes building and refining their WordPress website, and integrating plug-ins for social sharing, analytics, and SEO. Coding expertise is not required, but basic familiarity with HTML, CSS and PHP (or willingness to quickly learn about them) will serve you well. Students are required to bring their own laptop.
