Intro to Embroidery
In this class, we will focus on traditional and experimental hand stitching techniques, including embroidery, applique, and quilting. Through demonstrations of basic stitches, we will look at the stitch as a form of mark making to build surface, line, and texture. We will also look at artists working with embroidery in a contemporary context. Some supplies are included in the materials fee, however an additional materials list will be provided upon registration.

Dates: 3 class meetings / Tuesdays, November 19, 26, December 3
