Introduction to 3D Printing
Explore the spatial dimensions of software interface by learning the basics of 3D modeling in Rhino. From vertices to NURBS, this course introduces the terminology of polygon construction, as well as the tools needed to explore the depths of software modeling. We’ll also take a look at artists using this technology, and discuss its influence in Contemporary art. Students will learn to visualize and manipulate 3D space within a two-dimensional user interface, then design and 3D print their own wearable pendant.
