Portrait Drawing Workshop
This three-day workshop is designed for students at all levels that are interested in exploring portrait drawing. Students will begin by learning the fundamentals of the anatomy of the head, how to create form and recognize the planes of the head in a charcoal drawing. We will explore rapid drawing techniques focused on expressive gestures and also slower drawing techniques focused on a more realistic outcome. We will work from photographs and a life model in the last class. A materials list will be provided upon registration.
