Register In this three-day workshop, you will learn how to mix plaster and make a 1-part silicone putty mold of a clay sculpture you create in class! We will cover an intro to clay molding, plaster-to-water ratios, mold release, undercuts, and capturing texture. Cast multiple replicas of your original clay piece using the plaster provided. When your sculptures are finished drying, you will be provided acrylic paint to give them a bit of color. No previous mold-making, casting, or ceramic experience necessary.
A materials list will be provided upon registration. This class will occur in person at Root Division, located at 1131 Mission Street in SF.
