Building a Portfolio Website
This two class workshop will help artists set up and establish their own web presence. The course will cover buying a domain name, setting up a website (WordPress, Squarespace), configuring an email host, and various other web tools. Students will fill out a survey to help assess where their current web presence stands and pinpoint particular topics of interest to guide the class. The last portion of the both classes will be used to allow students to present their sites-in-progress to the group and receive feedback and guidance. No previous coding or website creation experience is required.
