Venue: 1131 Mission Street
Mindful Photography
Learn introductory digital photography foundations and connect them to mindfulness practices. Mindfulness builds awareness of the present moment while calmly acknowledging and accepting one's feelings, thoughts, bodily sensations, and the environment around you. Photographic practice asks for the same; to train our eyes to notice things in our surroundings that we might not notice in our normal days. Classes will include meditation, journaling, workshopping camera techniques, and photo walks. Your own digital camera is needed, and phone cameras are acceptable.
