Ex-votos: Painting Your Story
Transform a significant, personal story into a narrative painting in the Mexican tradition of the ex-voto. No formal training necessary; just a desire to tell your story in a visual way. We will look at historical examples of ex-votos, then be guided through a process of story development including story choice, organizing and drawing, and painting. Some basic supplies are included in the course fee, however an additional materials list will be provided upon registration.
