Summer Youth Studio: Imagining Exhibitions: What's Curation?

Artwork curation—What does that even mean?! In this one-week class we will learn about choosing and grouping art works for exhibition or for portfolios, we will learn how to think about art works as “neighbors” that talk to one another, and we will organize and curate the City Studio exhibition in the famous Diego Rivera Gallery at the end of the class! No previous experience required!

COVID UPDATE

In response to the current COVID-19 situation, and the CDC statement on May 11, 2023, masks are not required but encouraged at Root Division.

If you are feeling sick, please do not come into the space - feel free to reach out and we can discuss options for making up missed material.

We ask this as a show of community care and a move towards continued safety while gathering in-person.
