As an artist, you are an entrepreneur who is working hard at operating your business. This workshop will focus on planning and preparing for your annual tax return and will cover subjects like income types (W-2 vs 1099), expense deductions, home office/studio deductions, automobile and mileage expenses, and the use of technology to better prepare for tax season. Please note: this class will take place remotely through Zoom.

About the Instructor: Hugo Nevarez is an accountant and IRS Enrolled Agent born and raised in Durango, Mexico. He is the founder of Talent Accountant which focuses on providing accounting services and guidance to talent pursuing a career in the entertainment industry. Hugo is also a working actor.
