This six-session in-person course will introduce students to watercolor, gouache, and inks. Using these versatile media, students learn how to create representational images of landscape, still, life, and figures, as well as abstract studies, all while learning a variety of techniques. Through group demonstrations and individual direction, the instructor will help the students gain a basic command of these expressive media. Students should plan to purchase independently via this link or another retailer. Some basic supplies are included in the course fee, however, an additional materials list will be provided upon registration. Please note: This class will occur in person at Root Division, located at 1131 Mission Street in SF.
